Nothing but “witty” dialogue and more bitching!

* * *

So we are back in Sunnydale with the Buffy gang and they are partaking in career week. Buffy complains about how pointless it is to do this, as she has no future. After this we move on to Spike who is looking for a cure for Drusilla. While trying to decipher the book that will cure her, they learn that they need a “key” to crack the code. So Spike sends a vampire named Dalton to go retrieve said key. Buffy catches him stealing something but he gets away. Spike is pissed and decides to hire bounty hunters from the Order Of Taraka to go after Buffy. Giles and Angel get really worried and tell Buffy to hide out, as the hunters will just keep on coming and never stop until she is dead. One gets killed, the second is hiding in the house next to Buffy and then there’s what seems to be a third one, but in the fight she reveals that she is Kendra the vampire slayer.

The dialogue is just starting to get really annoying. In the beginning it was fun to hear a one liner here and there, but now that’s all that Xander does. Now his only dialogue exists of nothing except for jokes, one liners and cultural references, ugh just stop. Yes people think you’re (the writers) so clever, but if that’s all you can come up with…sigh…I don’t understand how this show lasted as long as it did.

Overall this is a pretty bad…well not really bad, just a really annoying episode. Again all we hear this episode from Buffy is about how terrible her life is and how she can never have a normal life. So why doesn’t she just leave town? Hop on a bus and leave seems to be a good option, especially if there’s a new slayer in town. I just wish she would shut up and quit bitching or just leave, but I know neither is going to happen.

Question Time!

What is up with the vampire and healing? They seem to heal pretty fast, but if you have a sickness before you are changed is it cured or is it just still there. In the episode “Lie To Me,” Buffy’s friend is talking about how he will be cured of his sickness if he is turned, so what’s up with the vampire with reading glasses?

About The Drudgeon

I don't remember my real name or where I came from. All I know is that I'm traped in an underground cave with nothing but a TV, DVD player and a notebook and pen. They keep calling me The Drudgeon, I don't even know what that means. Someone keeps dropping horror movies in and yelling at me to watch them and write about what I watch. Then I eat the DVD and case, because they tell me if I consume the horror I will understand the horror. I think there are three of them. So if you are reading this right now, HELP ME!!!!!!! OUCH!!!! Someone just poked me with a sea urchin attacked to a pool cue, what the fuck is going on?
