Top notch deathgrind with a top notch video.

So the band Cattle Decapitation is a deathgrind (if you don’t know what deathgrind is then you aren’t listening to enough different types of metal, look it up) band that consists of vocalist Travis Ryan, guitarist Josh Elmore, bassist Derek Engemann and drummer Dave McGraw. Now the song itself is great by itself. Hard hitting, great guitar and top notch lyrics. You may make the argument that you can’t understand what they are saying and that the style of singing isn’t good. But think back to when you parents complained about your music and they probably said something similar. Not exactly the same, but close enough, so maybe if that is your complaint than you might just be too old for Cattle Decapitation.
So at one point and time I was looking for some videos for a party we were having and I came across people reacting to the video of Forced Gender Reassignment. The best part is when you see metal heads trying to watch and them looking at the video in pure terror or disgust. So I had to see this video. I kept looking and just couldn’t find it, but after more searching I finally did and I actually understand why they were reacting the way that they were. Did it bother me the way it did them? Nope. Actually if you watched my response to the video it probably would have been very boring.
The video itself is pretty simple, kinda. It begins with some people holding signs and yelling about how “hell is for fags” and “god hates fags”. A guy comes up with a gun and scares them. Then three (two guys and one girl) of them are kidnapped and taken somewhere. While there one of them (one of the males) is stripped naked and placed face down on a bench and the other two are stripped and chained to a wall. A chunky guy in his underwear then proceeds to shave the make of his pubic hair and then goes to the female where he takes out her tampon. From there it gets more gruesome and I can understand the problems people have with it. That’s all I’m going to give away about the video. You want to know the ending? Watch the ending yourself.
The song itself is from the album Monolith Of Inhumanity, which is a great album. Check out the video if you think you are ready, but if you can’t handle the video just listen to the album. If you like metal then this is next step up. Great stuff!Have You Read...?
