The Drudgeon reviews The Shock Labyrinth

The Shock Labyrinthaka Senritsu Meikyû 3D (Original Title), The Shock Labyrinth 3D
89 min., 2009
Written by Daisuke Hosaka
Directed by Takashi Shimizu
Language: Japanese
My rating: ★

The movie that just keeps on repeating, and repeating, and repeating…

* * *

So the story follows a group of friends that have a bit of a dark past.  You see we meet them as a woman appears at one of their doors.  Her name is Yuki (Misako Renbutsu) and the biggest problem is that she is actually supposed to be dead.  You see when they were younger they went into this closed haunted house (kinda) and while there something happened and Yuki is killed.  You may think that I’m giving away a major plot point or that this is a major spoiler, but in fact it doesn’t really destroy anything.  You see the movie shows you the same scene over and over again.  So is it really a Labyrinth or is it just a movie that is on loop just from different angles?

About The Drudgeon

I don't remember my real name or where I came from. All I know is that I'm traped in an underground cave with nothing but a TV, DVD player and a notebook and pen. They keep calling me The Drudgeon, I don't even know what that means. Someone keeps dropping horror movies in and yelling at me to watch them and write about what I watch. Then I eat the DVD and case, because they tell me if I consume the horror I will understand the horror. I think there are three of them. So if you are reading this right now, HELP ME!!!!!!! OUCH!!!! Someone just poked me with a sea urchin attacked to a pool cue, what the fuck is going on?
